The Phoenix Assurance managing partners, along with the management team, collectively have over 75 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry.  Together, they previously worked for one of the top 20 generic prescription medication providers in the U.S. They provided generic pharmaceuticals to a growing number of chain stores, wholesalers, distributors, health systems and government agencies.  The facility has an exemplary FDA and DEA track record. The Memphis Distribution Center – now Phoenix Assurance – contributed to and shared in this success story.

The generic pharmaceutical portfolios managed ranged from oncology medicines to a variety of other therapeutic medicines, including analgesic (pain management), anti-infection, anti-inflammatory, cardiovascular, central nervous system, respiratory, and hormonal. The product offerings were in a range of dosage forms, including capsules, tablets, injectables, solutions, and suspensions.

 

In 2018, Hikma Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. made the business decision to consolidate their distribution to a facility located in Ohio. With this decision, the management team recognized the opportunity to continue utilizing their experience and expertise in this market, industry, and state-of-the-art facility and formed a new third-party logistics company, Phoenix Assurance, LLC.

Phoenix Assurance is a Pharmaceutical Specialty Logistics Solution offering high quality warehousing, shipping and receiving services for DEA non-controlled and DEA controlled pharmaceutical products. Our facility supports receipt, storage and shipment of controlled room temperature (CRT) (20° – 25°C) as well as refrigerated (2° – 8°C) finished goods.

Among Phoenix Assurance’s strengths, the management team has expertise in seamless order fulfillment managing over 25 thousand order lines monthly and averaging $1.3 billion annually in dollars shipped in recent years. This was all achieved while we maintained a “best in class” rating for our External Shipping Accuracy and Inventory Accuracy.
